About Me

Ty Hildebrand is a Principal Real Estate Broker of the Hildebrand Real Estate Group at Legacy Real Estate. The Hildebrand team is in place to help both buyers and sellers navigate the most important transaction in their lives. Teaming with Legacy Real Estate to make the transaction process as smooth and hassle free as possible.

Our main focus is Residential Real Estate. We have helped buyers and sellers buying $100k manufactured homes to million dollar estates and everything in between. We have the tools to market to each type of buyer.

Ty Hildebrand was licensed in 2004 and is going on over 12 years of selling real estate in Salem and Bend.

The Hildebrand team consists of Brenda Glodt licensed in 1984 now with 35 plus years of experience of selling real estate in Salem Oregon. The latest addition to the Hildebrand team is Katie Schmidt, who has been licensed since 2015. The goal of our team is to be able to offer clients additional team support to help manage and guide their transactions.

Ty Hildebrand, Brenda Glodt and Katie Schmidt are members of the Salem Association of Realtors (SAR), Oregon Association of Realtors (OAR)and the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and are very proud to be called REALTOR®’s.

The Hildebrand Team has consistently been in the top 1% of Realtors in the Prudential Network of brokerages and in 2016, they were in the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chairman’s Circle Platinum, which is the Top 1% of all the brokers in the BHHS network.

Family is most important. Ty has been married to his high school sweetheart since April Fool’s Day 2000. They have a son, Jackson, who is in high school. They love to watch him play his favorite sport, baseball. They do try and sneak away once,maybe twice, a year to Sonoma County to check on the wineries.

Ty has lived in Salem since 1977 went Myers Elementary, Walker Middle School and graduated in 1988 from South Salem High School.


My favorite part of this business is seeing families get the house they want and then seeing them make it their home.  It really is the best thing about our business.  

The best part of real estate right now is how the business is changing so quickly and how technology is making so much better for buyers and sellers.  Buyers these days are armed with so much information about the homes and properties by time they make the call to see it.  90% of the transaction is getting through the contract and keeping our clients out possible problems.
