We will begin by conducting an initial consultation, which gives our brokers an opportunity to tour your home and property and to complete a thorough Market Analysis. The result is a detailed report, provided to you free of charge, showing recent list and sale prices for similar homes in your area.
Your broker will interpret this data to identify a price range for the neighborhood, square footage, and age of your home. We will then work with you to choose the exact listing price for your home, supported by current market statistics and directly influenced by your financial goals. Your broker will also provide you with a breakdown of associated costs typically incurred by the seller during the closing process, so you will know your estimated net gain from the beginning.
Don’t worry about whether or not your home is in market ready condition for this consultation. Your broker may snap a few cell phone photos during their initial tour, but these photos will only be used for our reference when preparing the market analysis. This is also a great time to chat with your broker about any recommendations they might have for getting your home ready for showings. The appointment should take just 15-30 minutes, depending on the property.
