According to the Statesman Journal there will be multiple new and returning restaurants coming to Salem!

They include the following:

Returning is The Chubby Bean, a drive-through stand located at 3545 Portland Rd NE serving coffee and breakfast plus Mexican food. Owner, Jose Gonzalez is working on expanding the menu in the coming weeks.

Miyoko Buffet, a Japanese buffet owned by Mei Chan and Wei Zheng who also own Corvallis' New China Buffet. The buffet offers sushi, Mongolian grill and some Chinese food. They are located at 636 Lancaster Dr NE and are already open!

The Shaka Brah Grilled Cheese, a food truck that serves grilled cheese and hotdog/Polish sausages. The truck will open today, February 17th at the Shades of Brew Taphouse on 4743 Lancaster Dr NE. You may recall Shaka Brah as serving Hawaiian food, and you'd be correct! They have an additional cart right next to the grilled cheese cart.

Oh Any Sundae serves, you guessed it, ice cream! It's first location is in South Salem at 3987 Commercial St SE but they are currently working on expanding to a window-only second location in West Salem at 1124 Edgewater St. Owner, Caleb Hayward is hoping for a mid-March grand opening.
