Getting to Know Our Buyers

Getting to know our buyers

Buyer Questionnaire

Help us understand what your ideal property may look like.

COMPLETE THE QUESTIONNAIRE

The best way for our brokers to be successful is to understand exactly what their clients are looking for in a home and using our market knowledge to identify potential properties. In the initial consultation between broker and buyer, we want to learn your preferred communication style, share how our systems and tools can help you, and just get to know you!

It is also important for buyers to understand that the search tools we use, while very effective, do have limitations.  Not all features can be entered into search criteria fields, but we always do our best to produce tailored and relevant results that meet our client’s needs.

Our Technology Toolkit

We’ve vetted many programs, tools and systems to find the best and most efficient tools that help us be successful in client communications, property searches, and transaction management. Learn more about what’s in our toolkit below.

LegacyRE.com offers one of the most comprehensive and accurate property search tools available today. With updates occurring every 15-20 minutes, our buyers are among the first to receive notification of a new listing or a change in listing status. Your broker can set up email alerts that will inform you in real time when a property matching your criteria has hit the market. Or choose to receive alerts once a day, once a week or on specific days of the week – keeping you in control of your inbox!

We utilize Google Workspace to communicate, organize, manage, and share information between our brokers and clients. Google’s wide array of applications, compatible over many different platforms, allows us to access documents anytime, anywhere, helping us not miss a beat in a transaction.

A real estate transaction is made up of many dates and contractual elements. Managing these details effectively is crucial to a successful purchase or sale. We use ClickUp, a dynamic project management tool that ensures no item, big or small, is ever missed.

We use DocuSign for all electronic signatures.  DocuSign is the leading tool in the industry, offering a convenient signing experience that can be conducted virtually on any device, whether desktop, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet. DocuSign is a web-safe tool that allows our brokers and clients to secure, sign, send, and store documents, ensuring that transaction management is reliably recorded and providing a more efficient way to keep transactions compliant.

A multiple listing service (MLS) is a private organization that collects and organizes the real estate listings from all its member brokers and showcases them in one centralized place.

Most likely, you’ve inadvertently viewed MLS listings when searching for properties online. As members, subscribing real estate professionals are granted special and advanced MLS access, beyond what is available to the public. We subscribes to four MLS groups, which range in size and scope, giving us the most results when searching for property, and the greatest exposure when listing a new property.

The Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service (WVMLS) was Oregon’s first MLS, established in 1949. This member-owned nonprofit serves the majority of the Mid-Willamette Valley, including Marion, Polk, Linn, and Benton Counties. Providing services to both the public and its member brokers alike, WVMLS fosters quick and accurate data exchange, allowing us prime access to the newest properties in the Willamette Valley. With special features designed for member brokers, WVMLS’ listing aggregation, syndication, training, technical support, and advertising puts us ahead of the game.

Regional Multiple Listing Service (RMLS) serves over 10,200 real estate professionals in over 2,300 offices throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington. As the Northwest’s largest REALTOR® – owned MLS, RMLS’ database holds an archive of over 1.4 million listings, including over 30,000 active listings, and over 2 million tax records with state-of-the-art industry mapping programs which provide aerial views, street views, plat maps, and more. RMLS sends subscribers like us monthly statistical newsletters and offers trainings so that we are up-to-date and working for you as efficiently as possible.

The Lincoln County Multiple Listing Service (LCMLS) covers Tillamook and Lincoln Counties, a considerable stretch of Oregon’s beautiful coastline. With hundreds of listings from its 275+ members, including nearly 2,000 ready-to-develop land, home, condo, shared ownership, and commercial properties, LCMLS allows us to help you find the perfect get-away or new place to settle down. With public listings, community resources, and events right on their homepage, LCMLS provides excellent resources for real estate opportunities at the coast.

The Multiple Listing Service of Central Oregon is a facility providing orderly correlation and dissemination of listing information so that members of the MLS may better serve their clients, customers and the public. The MLS is also a means by which members make blanket unilateral offers of compensation to other members and is a means of enhancing cooperation among its members. Additionally, the MLS is a means by which information is accumulated and disseminated to enable authorized members to prepare appraisals, analyses, and other valuations of real property for bona fide clients and customers, as members’ license status permits.
